Large Rococo style carved wood console table, in a white-painted finish, having shaped marble top, above pierced rocaille apron with elaborately carved floral motifs, rising on stretcher-joined cabriole legs, marble intact with professional restorations, approx 36"h, 91"w, 24"d
09.04.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3247: As described the marble top is intact with restorations (see images), I note that the table stands sturdy, the marble top also having some minor chipping at edge commensurate with use, and small professional stabilizations, which are common and used to create a smooth, solid surface along areas of natural fissures and pitting, the painted finish of the frame is overall well-retained, with some minute remnants of a previous gilded finish, and an applied spotting to emulate age, also having some small chips and flaked losses, which are sparse, commensurate with age and use, close examination reveals a minor adhesive reinforcement at the front left leg that appears to remain fully stable and sturdy
