Carved and polychrome painted wood cigar shop figure, 20th c., modeled as a Native American chief with feathered headdress, the chest with carved sun and bison motifs, standing upon trunk-form base, approx 72"h, 14.5"w, 13"d

10/20/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT 2088: I note that the figure stands sturdy, the wood having typical stable splits, notably at the base and left-hand side of the face, both of which do not appear to affect structural integrity in my opinion, the painted decoration is overall well-retained with some typical small flaked losses, minor chips, and spots of light fading commensurate with age and use or exposure to the elements, also having a small area of craquelure and a few stray marks
