9.25.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 1157 – I am not an expert on such works, so I have provided numerous high-resolution images for your reference, the work was examined in frame and the verso was not inspected, a UV light examination reveals scattered small abrasions to surface and minor paint flakes, no major areas of overpaint or restorations were apparent, the paint surface retains good color with inherent texture, I note a small loss to the panel at the mid/lower right edge where it meets the frame, and a vertical painted line at the center lower register which may emulate rigging or rope though this cannot be confirmed, the work is securely encased within the frame, frame exhibits only light wear
