(lot) Stereoscope/ stereograph cards, various subjects and makers, many published by Underwood and Underwood Publishers, Universal Photo Art Company, Keystone View Company, and Sun Sculpture Works and Studios, highlights include: many political and military figures including 25th president of the United States William McKinley, 26th President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt, 28th President of the United States Woodrow Wilson, 41st United States Secretary of State William Jennings Bryan, Admiral George Dewey; Spanish-American War subjects including U.S. Battleships Oregon and Texas; Russo-Japanese War subjects; World War I-era subjects including Georges Clemenceau, Woodrow Wilson, and David Lloyd George leaving the Palace of Versailles after signing peace treaty, helmeted German soldiers lined up for review, German steel cupola for machine guns demolished by the Allies, a Russian gun dismantled by implements of war, French soldiers resting in the trenches, rendering first aid to the wounded in the French trenches; scenic views of North Dome and Mirror Lake, Yosemite, California, prospectors returning to camp in Alaska, the ice peaks of the Illecillewaet Glacier, British Columbia, Canada, the Nightingale Mine at Bull Hill, Colorado, etc.; each card: approx 7"l, 3.5"w, housed in fitted box, overall in box: approx 5.5"h, 10.25"w, 7.75"d, 6.25lbs total
