10.24.24-I note that the commode is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble top having inherent natural inclusions and fissures, as well as a few typical minute chips along the unfinished back edge commensurate with contact against a wall, there is evidence of old woodworm, particularly at the frieze drawer, all drawers currently operate smoothly, the side panels having vertical splits with filled reinforcement, the front left-hand bracket foot appears to have a small seam of some composite material at joinery, possibly from a previous reinforcement, but I am unsure, a small amount of minor veneer chips and abrasions are typical and commensurate with age and use
