01.07.26: I note that the bed is structurally sturdy, the carved elements are overall well-preserved, the veneer is also overall well-retained with typical minor surface wear, including sparse minor chips, some of these small losses with filled concealment, and a few scattered minor splits, most being minute, with filled reinforcement, including a region of the pediment (see images), I observe a couple of minute glue reinforcements, such as one of the headboard finials and a small segment of trim (see images), described minor wear is typical and commensurate with age and use
