09/08/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT 3148: Please note that this sideboard is currently staged in a narrow corridor of our gallery, resulting in some of the additional photos being a bit cramped, I note that the sideboard stands sturdy, the marble top is free from observed hairlines/ fractures, having some typical minor edge chipping and light staining/ discoloration, the drawers operate smoothly, and cabinet doors remain tight on hinges, interiors are overall well-kept/ clean and shelving appears sturdy, one of the shelves inside the curved outer cabinets is mismatch/ later added (varied wood finish), the metal trim remains securely mounted throughout the case and exhibits patination, the tone of the finish is overall uniform and rich, the veneer having a sparse amount of typical minor surface wear such as a few small nicks and light abrasions commensurate with age and use
