10.28.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 3008 — please note, I am not a gemologist and cannot speak to the quality or composition of the stone, a careful UV light examination reveals the bird to be overall intact, displaying inherent fissures, inclusions, and natural color variation characteristic of the stone, with light surface irregularities and typical very minute chipping along the tail edge and at the leg junctions, a careful UV examination shows no evidence of restoration, the bird remains removable from the gilt metal perch which exhibits light wear and minor loss to the gilding, I note a possible small loss to the vine or twig near the bird’s left foot as shown in photos, the stone base is intact and signed to the underside with slight wear beneath from display, all wear consistent with handling and age, no major losses or restorations observed
