03.21.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 198 – I note that the figure is presently intact and structurally secure, the paint decoration is overall well-retained, with a tonal variation to the painted spots – some being a bright white, and others a yellow off-white resulting from an uneven application of varnish/ finish to the figure, one of the spots above the back leg exhibits a minor glue repair, and there are visible splits/ seams, one with minor splintering, located at the top of the head, the legs and arms appear securely fastened to the body
