Contemporary studio art glass vase, Martie Negri (American, b. 1957), having cylindrical form with lightly tapered lower body, colorless ground with polychrome murrine in the form of sunflowers, blanket flowers, red lilies, and white blossoms, close-packed with pulled feather leaves tri-color swirls, etched signature underfoot, intrinsic air bubble pinholes, approx 13.75"h, 5"diam, 5lbs **Provenance: From the estate of Carl Carter (Texas, 1955-2023)**

6.3.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1131-I am not an expert on the works of this artist, so will describe what I see, I note that the vase is presently intact and structurally sturdy, retaining a flat foot, the rim is slightly irregular shaped with no noted loss, this may be inherent to the creation process, see images, there are what appear to be some scattered minor inherent air bubbles which are surface-level and appearing as minute pits to body and underfoot, I have taken images for your review and note this to most of this artists works, thus it may be intrinsic to the process, I am unsure, I do not currently observe large chips, fractures, or evidence of restoration following visual and UV examinations
