Meissen style parcel gilt porcelain mantel clock, 20th c., surmounted with seated shepherdess and lamb, on shaped case with transferred floral sprays and scrolled gilt foliates, centering white dial with Arabic hour markers, spring-driven time-only movement, spurious crossed swords mark at case interior, operational status unknown, approx 11.25"h, 5.75"w, 4.5"d, 3.5lbs
CR 7.7.25- As mentioned in the catalog description, the operational status of the clock is unknown. The handle used to adjust the minute hand turns easily and the hands respond accordingly when the handle is turned. Though the handle used to turn the lowest gear winds easily with little resistance, it appears that this gear itself is slightly misaligned, as its movement does not trigger the surrounding gears. As with all of our clocks, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning.
