MEISSEN STYLE 'FOUR SEASONS' FIGURAL PORCELAIN MANTEL CLOCK

Meissen style porcelain mantel clock, 19th c., parcel-gilt case with putti representative of the four seasons, applied polychrome floral garlands, housing white dial with Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic minute markers, time-and-strike movement, rising on scrolled feet, retaining pendulum, lacking bell, not currently operational, (two) figures with restorations to legs, typical small losses to applied elements, intact with firing hairline at underside of base, approx 18.5"h, 12"w, 7"d, 14lbs

CR 6.2.25- As noted in the catalog description, the clock is accompanied by a pendulum but is lacking a bell. The suspension spring is intact and the clock winds easily, however the movement does not appear to respond to winding. The clock is not currently operational. The leftmost keyhole is lacking its escutcheon and has typical minor denting to the porcelain surrounding it. Please see the catalog description for condition notes regarding the case. As with all of our antique clocks, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning.
