1.15.26- In my opinion regarding LOT:1223- please note that I am not an expert on such works, so have taken numerous images for your review, the work is executed in mixed media on board, a careful UV light examination shows no evidence of major loss or restoration to the board or work, the composition presents with pronounced surface texture, deliberate variation in paint thickness, and layering consistent with the artist’s intended process, there is a very small localized area of loss to the board observed in the lower right quadrant (along the frame edge), see image, minor rubs and light surface wear are present across the painted surface which may be inherent to the materials and method of execution, no significant structural instability is noted to the board, verso is as pictured, the frame shows scattered small nicks and minor loss consistent with age and handling
