02.02.26: Please note that I am not an expert in antique textiles or tapestries, from a visual examination only, I note that the tapestry exhibits typical seems of separation and small holes, as well as several minor tears near the edges, the dye of the fibers having typical fading and light discoloration/ staining commensurate with use/ display, and there are some scattered stitched restorations, seemingly being professional, which are typical and commensurate with age and use, there are several segments of trim that appear as a red color while the majority is black, possibly having been replaced, the weave is secured around the edges to a modern piece of fabric
