Monumental Louis XVI style gilt wall mirror, having vasiform crest surmounted by seated allegorical figures and foliate scrollwork, ovular frame, encasing flat mirror plate, approx 87"h, 48"w, 6"d, 85lbs
03.13.25: In my opinion regarding LOT: 3319-The mirror is overall intact, it appears to have restoration (likely professional) to crest, lower decoration and floral elements, the figure at top has a slightly misshapen head, I note light general rubs, wear, some flakes and small losses to gilded surface with some visible gesso, there are some paint touchups, figures and swag exhibit the aforementioned likely restoration and some small typical glue repairs, minute chips to elements and light wear, mirror plate is free of any noted chips, cracks, or major loss, I note a slim, slightly uneven partial bevel
