Condition

02.08.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1334: I note that the case and interior glassware are fully intact, there is light patination of the inlaid brass, as well as a minute dent to front edge brass along top panel of lid, and scattered areas of inpainting to the lacquered faux tortoiseshell, the left side of the lid has an area of chipping mostly contained to the interior side of the lower edge, I observe one cordial glass with a chip to the rim, and most of the cordials have minor chips to the square foot, mostly to the corners, and one of the cordials has a small gilt paint touch up over a chip, as described one of the decanters has a chip to the rim of mouth, which a hairline extends down the neck from, two of the decanters have minute chips to the stopper finials, and all pieces exhibit varying degrees of light typical gilt wear, particularly to the rims, and all fit comfortably within designated case compartments
