Neoclassical style carved marble sculpture, depicting a classically draped maiden seated above some steps, carrying a flaming torch and upturned vessel, extended foot intact with minor hairline, approx 50"h, 19.5"w, 17"d
CR 8.19.25-In my opinion regarding LOT 3319: As described the extended foot is intact with a minor hairline that appears fully stable (see images), I note that the sculpture stands sturdy, all elements appearing secure at joinery points, close visual and UV light examinations reveal a few minor filled reinforcements at the stepped base (see images), and a couple minor, stable hairlines at the front side of the steps (see images), also having a few typical minor chips at the edges of base commensurate with age and display, the marble exhibits inherent naturally occurring inclusions such as coloration variations and fissures
