Parker Brothers Wells Fargo marked coach style shotgun, 12 gauge, mfg.1886, 20.25" side by side twist steel barrels marked at the solid rib 'Parker Bros. Makers, Meriden Conn Twist", an engraved floral, there is a bead front sight, the barrels with shell ejector, the watertable left side marked with the serial number and 1875 patent date, the right watertable side marked with patent dates 1872 and 1876 and further marked "WF & Co", the left barrel flat marked with patent dates 1876 and 1878 and further marked "WF & Co", the right barrel flat marked with "T within a circle" and "J, 5 and 6", the barrel lug marked "02", the forestock lever with 1878 patent date and serial number at the interior, the receiver marked at both sides "Parker Bros", two exposed hammers, two triggers, the front trigger guard tang with 1875 patent date, the rear trigger guard with the serial number, a silver tone shield behind the upper receiver tang, the right butt stock with an added oval brass plaque reading "Wells Fargo Express, 53, SF Cal", the underside butt stamped into the wood "WF & CO EX, a hound on the butt plate, action is good, wood and metal with expected scratching, a wood crack at the wrist has been wrapped with a leather belt, bores semi-bright with no discernible dents, a metal repair to both sides of the barrel rib on barrel top, SN 47368    **Note: Wells Fargo Identification Has Not Been Authenticated**
