Porcelain sculpture with applied beads, Hand Foot Chair, signed Pedro Friedeberg (Mexican, b.1936), impressed PF stamp underfoot, some overall loss to applied beads, approx 7"h, 4 1/8"w, 5.5"d, 1.25lbs
09.25.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1076: As described there is some overall losses to applied beads, these areas appear at the top of thumb, the tip of the big toe, the back of pinky finger, and along lower edge, as well as some typical scattered losses of individual/ singular beads, there is a region near the back of the heel that disrupts the patterning along lower edge of the foot, the small area has some visible glue remnants and a seemingly sporadic application of beads on the area of loss, I do not know the origin of this region of mismatched beading
