9.4.23-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1468- The painting is hung high on the wall, please refer to catalog listing for a photo of the back, I am not an expert on such paintings, so please review the photos and information, and if you have further questions, please let me know, the canvas is slightly taught , so it may be re-lined, I observe some areas of inpainting scattered throughout, some craquelure overall, some old varnish, particularly noted in figures hair down to dogs head, there is a small circular area at figures nose-visible under UV light, I do not observe any apparent existing rips or tears to canvas, the frame shows some typical areas of gilt loss, lines, and wear
