Framed gelatin silver print, "Baby's Breath," Robert Mapplethorpe (American, 1946-1989), signed, titled and dated 1982, numbered 1/ 10, accompanied by copy of 1986 purchase invoice from Robert Miller Gallery, New York, sight: approx 15"h, 15 1/8"w, overall: approx 25.5"h, 25"w, 11lbs<b>**NOTE: This lot was NOT examined by Austin Auction Gallery out of the frame, current framing prevents this. 10.31.24-In my opinion regarding:  LOT – 1170-The work was examined in frame only, due to the current framing, we are unable to remove it from the frame and do not have permission to examine the work out of frame, images of the work out of frame were provided by the consignor, this lot is sold AS IS, a UV examination reveals no rips or tears to visible paper or apparent mars to visible image, images provided in the online listing are that of the client and were taken prior to being framed, I am not an expert on such work so please let me know should you have further questions, the frame is in stable and sturdy condition with only light wear at lower left corner noted
