CR 8.26.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3323: The stove is comprised of six pieces – three pieces arranged in a circular frame at the base, with the back being open, and three pieces stacked above. Please note that the stove is not fully assembled in our warehouse due to the size in an effort to preserve its current condition. Close visual reveals some typical minor chips, small glaze losses, glaze pops, small minor firing flaws, and some inherent glaze defects resulting in slight discolorations, also having crazing throughout the glaze. UV light examination reveals small areas of professional restoration with inpainting (see images, affected areas appear slightly grayed in color). The interior rim of the base that is supporting the upper elements having a couple of fractures, which are not visible when fully assembled, one of the fractures reinforced, this rim also with a relatively small section of loss. Much of the described wear is inherent to creation, such as the glaze and firing flaws, or are typical and commensurate with use, all being consistent with 18th century origin.
