Japanese Type 47 Navy Signal Gun, believed to be c.1942,  marked at the left frame above the grip "K F C over Anchor and letter in circle" (Kawaguchiya Firearms Company), serial number "1660" at front of trigger guard, Japanese character mark under safety slide at rear frame, both grips with "1660" serial number at underside, the 4" barrel opens with latch at top, 1" bore, good action, finish with light scratching, checkered wood grips, lanyard ring, for shipping 7" x 9" x 1.5", 1.65lbs    (34)  *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (Texas, 1936-2022)

Condition

7.10.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1085- the metal is with some light scratches, however overall very good, in my opinion/estimate 80% to 85%, wood grips are good, barrel top lever opens to chamber correctly, bore appears bright and smooth, possibly never fired (my opinion only), slide safety operates correctly, lettering is easily read, again, my opinion only but this may have not been issued or never used, please refer to online images for reference
