07/06/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT: the cabinet exhibits a warm, richly developed tonal patina with age-related texture and inherent imperfections, the thick plank top displays fading, shrinkage, age checks, scattered small losses, and surface irregularities consistent with its construction and centuries of use, it would likely benefit from a fresh coat of wax, the cabinet retains old iron hardware, the doors open properly to a stable shelved interior, there are scattered blemishes, nicks, rubs, evidence of old inactive woodworm, and possible old restorations consistent with age, all mentioned enhancing the authentic rustic character of the cabinet and commensurate with its origin, age, and use
