Scarce Contemporary "Mah Jong" bed, Missoni Home for Roche Bobois, original design by Hans Hopfner in 1999, manufacturers tag dated Febbraio (February) 2020, a special order, staggered headboard upholstered in varied button-tufted fabrics including ribbed pattern, the cushion on the left with heathered rainbow stripes, and abstract jewel-inspired geometrics with hand embroidered accents, side rails and footboard in a fuchsia channel-tufted upholstered, rising on short cylindrical feet, accompanied by (two) adjustable steel bed rails and (two) mattress platforms, exterior: approx 40"h, 99"l, 99"w, interior: approx 82"l, 77.5"w **Provenance: Treasures from the vaults of a Dallas designer**

08.31.26: I note that the bed is structurally sturdy, all buttons at tufted points are currently present and remain secure, I observe typical light staining, which is sparse, mostly appearing at the top of the side rails and footboard, as is commensurate with use, fabric is currently free from observed tearing or holes, and the padding remains overall plush
