04.21.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 1153: I note that the canvas remains securely encased within framing and taut on stretchers, UV light examination is unremarkable and I do not observe evidence of restoration, canvas is free from observed tearing and holes, there are a few minute spots of flaked paint loss (see images) commensurate with age and use/ display, also having a couple areas of spotting (see images), however I am uncertain if they are original to the painting process, the canvas verso with foxing, the black-painted trim of the frame with some typical minor surface wear such as small nicks and abrasions, the exterior edges of the frame are unfinished
