U.S. Model 1894 Signal Pistol, marked at the right frame "Equp. Dep. No 81 A.D.", marked at the right frame "14 FD. Ord Dep. W.N.Y. 1895 anchor mark, T.F.J." (Thomas F. Jewell, Commander U.S.N.), frame under barrel marked with serial number "81" and repeated at underside of left grip, barrel swivels ope to right, hand shell ejector at right side of barrel, steel and brass barrel, brass frame, wood grips, light dents to brass, finish loss on steel, action good, for shipping 5.5" x 13" x 1.5", 3.00lbs    (294)     *Provenance: Collection of Billy Wayne Dickey, USN, (1936-2022)

Condition

7.10.24-In my opinion regarding LOT: 1150- the brass is with light scratching and minor dents, but an overall pleasing appearance in my opinion, exposed steel section of the barrel with scraps and some pitting, mostly noted at the left side, the bore is bright with some scrapes and scratches, the barrel swivels properly for loading, the action, trigger and hammer are all good, grips show some scratches and dents, the right grip is with two vertical appox 1” cracks, however remains intact, lettering is easy to read, please refer to online images for reference
