11.14.25- The figure and table are an impressive sculptural art piece, the wood is finely grained and well carved and retaining a warm and rich patina, the whole is inlaid throughout including the apron and stretchers (interior and exterior), the figure is removable and table can be displayed independently, both are in stable and sturdy condition, exhibiting only some tonal variation, spotting, minor imperfections, small wood losses/nicks and slight wear, inlays are largely intact with some expected minor losses and raised areas, wood has some stable splits, some wood filled, likely from the time of creation, the figure is carved with very detailed naturalistic characteristics, such as tendon definition and an expressive face, carvings remain crisp, one toe is intact with glue repair/seam, all mentioned, in my opinion, are minor and commensurate with the nature, display and vintage age of the sculpture / table
