11.6.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 2158: I note that the stand is structurally sturdy, shelves and bamboo frame are free from notable loss aside from a chip at the back corner of top tier, lacquered finish is overall well-retained, with some spots of light staining and discoloration, including a couple of light water rings, as well as minute flea bites along the front edges, all commensurate with age and use, parcel-gilt decoration is overall well-preserved with typical light mellowing, the bamboo with light tonal variations of the finish consistent with use and sun-fading
