09/23/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT : 1422- the box is overall in stable condition with a repair (stabilized fracture) noted along the front body panel at the center running to left side, see images, the enamel and gilt decoration shows wear consistent with the late 19th/ early 20th century age of the box, metal fittings are tarnished and have not been polished, I am unsure if there is plate loss, the interior glass along inner metal edges shows some small typical chips, liner shows age with spotting and wear
