Italian mid-century modern dry bar cabinet, attributed to Vittorio Dassi (Italian, 1893-1973), c.1950s, having inset black glass top, over two central sculptural cabinet doors, revealing two drawers above interior shelf, flanked on both sides by additional cabinet doors, each with shelved and mirrored interior, rising on sculptural platform base, approx 48.5"h, 62"w, 17"d

Condition

9.28.24-LOT 1126: I note that the cabinet is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the glass top is currently free from chipping and fractures/ hairlines, and the painted trim directly below top has a deliberately distressed finish, all cabinet door lock plates operating smoothly, the interior mirrors of the side bar cabinet have minor amounts of light spotting and silver loss, and are free from observed chips or fractures, the bar cabinets are illuminated (see images) but are in need of re-wiring (European wiring), there is light patination of the interior metal bottle racks, I observe scattered typical minute veneer chipping, including to the central double doors, mostly contained to edges, some spots having filled restoration, this minor surface wear is typical and is commensurate with age and use
