(lot of 2) Bayonet and Knife: (1) Portuguese Model 1885 sword bayonet, the 18.25" blade, with fuller at each side, is marked at the ricasso with the Aviz cross, obscured lettering at the spine, the handle is later and appears to be elk antler with one side having an inset bulls eye with '5' at center, surface rust with nick one blade, overall approx. 23.5"l; (1) Bowie style knife, the 11.25"l spear point blade marked at the ricasso "G. Wostenholm & Son, Washington Works, Sheffield", the opposite ricasso marked "IXL", the stag handle with sterling marked bolster and pommel, overall 18.25"l, housed in a later leather and metal scabbard, for shipping total of both 2.40lbs
