WWI M1917A1 Binocular Trench Double Periscope, Shell Only, lacks optics at eye ports but glass present at top of barrels, the original leather case marked "BT&T Co." with inspector stamp "F.J.S.", the periscope with no apparent maker name but with serial number "2342", several angle settings with numbers, bubble level is good, verdigris from brass/leather, for shipping approx. 9" x 9" x 18.5", 17.75lbs    **Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
