2.18.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 2196-The pair are quite heavy and stand sturdy, the top section is actually in two parts, (1)  removable lid, and (2) collar, interiors are not hollow, gilt metal mounts exhibit mellowing, rubs and patination, stone bodies are intact with some inherent inclusions, filled fissures and tonal variations, (one) under UV light displays some filled lines that are appear as veining, I do not know if this is old restoration or reinforced fissures, it is not evident,  I have taken images for your review, (one) has a small break to metal swag at swan’s beak, causing the handle to have a bit of give, overall mentioned commensurate with age, no major cracks or chips observed
