03.11.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3478: I note that the screens are presently intact, panels currently remaining securely joined at hinges, the paper surface having minor spotting, with tonal variation arising from an overall slightly muddied appearance due to the build-up of surface grime and discoloration, as is commensurate with age and use, there are scattered small losses to the paper, which are typical, some with in-painted concealment, minor pigment and paper losses are commensurate with age and use, the later framing having typical minor surface wear such as small nicks and abrasions
