(lot of 2) Vintage Sterling Silver Bridle Conchos, c.1940's/50's, both hand embellished with foliate decoration, the front reserve of each marked "K.C.S.P," representing the Kern County Sheriff's Mounted Posse (Bakersfield, Kern County, California, founded in 1939); (1) the verso having a mounting loop and stamped "Sterling" above the silversmith mark "MCS" for McCabe Silversmiths, used by its founder John McCabe (d.1934) and his successor Charles Martinez (d.1960), the concho approx. 1.75" diameter; (1) stamped at the verso on its scalloped edge "Sterling", and having an attached brass mounting loop, approx. 1.75" diameter, total of both conchos inclusive of all materials approx. 1.22ozt
