04.21.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3074-  the pair are overall intact and stand sturdy, a careful UV light examination reveals that the foot of each vase is intact with restoration with one having a stable hairline, see image, lids and bodies exhibit crazing, wear and loss to gilt decoration, and rubs, the urn with the woman in pink gown has what appears to be some sort of old varnish layer between the upper neck and rim, and there is varnished flaked away, this is mostly visible under UV light and difficult to photo, it does not appear to be restoration, metal mounts are securely attached with patination, spotting, rubs, imperfections and some lines, the base is oxidized, the pair present well overall
