10.24.24-I note that both chairs are presently intact and structurally sturdy, the upholstery remaining taut and securely bound at edges, all being free from observed tearing, and having varied degrees of light staining, mostly to the seat and minor discoloration to the padded arms (see images), there is also varied amounts of old woodworm evidence, remaining minor throughout both armchairs, there is patination of the nailhead trim at upholstery perimeter, one having a minor split to the pierced element at lower corner of seat back but remaining stable, and there is a minute amount of typical surface wear such as a few small nicks and abrasions commensurate with age and use
