10.24.24-I note that the settee is presently intact and structurally sturdy, the walnut frame having an inherent tonal variation, the upholstery remaining taut and securely bound throughout edges, with light discoloration and minor staining, mostly contained to the seat but also appearing on the reverse of seat back, and is commensurate with age and use, there is patination of the nailhead trim, and typical minor splits to wood not affecting structural integrity, I observe a visible glue reinforcement to one arm at the joinery to seat (see image), and typical minute surface wear, which is sparse, such as small chips to edges
