CR 9.3.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3398: Please note that upon review, these side tables are not a true pair, and are rather a companion/ near pair, one table with polychrome marquetry, the other with contrasting marquetry in natural wood finishes (see images), I have revised the listing to reflect such, we do not believe these tables to be antique and are believed to originate in the late 20th century; I note that both tables stand sturdy and appear structurally secure throughout joinery points, the ormolu remains securely mounted, and drawers operate smoothly with clean interiors, the marquetry and parquetry inlay is overall well-retained and free from notable losses, both tables with a few minute spots of peeled finish (see images), and a couple of minute professional finish touch-ups under the varnish or sealant medium (see images)
