(The Old Guard State Fencibles, 1813-1981,a part of the Pennsylvania militia until independent battalions were abolished around 1900), sword and scabbard approx. 37"l' (1) a Model 1902 sword likely designed for military academy use and weighting about 1.45lbs, , the straight 31.25" blade marked at the left ricasso "M.C. Lilley, & Co., Columbus, OH", the left blade near center with the name panel marked "R. C.
