Wurlitzer petite grand piano, #1720353, made in 1982 by Young Chang.
Case and finish: High-gloss ebony polyester finish. Noticeable circular scratches on the lid, slight scratches on the sides. All of these could be buffed out by a polyester finish specialist (check with Steinway Gallery for current contract specialists).
Pedals and back action: Pedals, pedal lyre, and linkage fully functional.
Action: All original and playable 'as is' but regulationo of the action would improve playabiltiy, sensitivity, and dynamic range.
Strings and Tuning Pins: Original strings and tuning pins. Heavy corrosion on strings. Piano found at 25% flat (the equivalent of 5 years without tuning).
Soundboard, Bridges and Plate. No cracks in soundboard or bridges or plate.
The pinblock is in good condition (which holds the tuning pins in place that keep the piano in tune and stable).
Pitch and tone: The piano plays well and could be brought back into service with a simple cleaning, pitch raise and tuning. Further work on the action would bring it back to factory parameters.
This piano has been inspected by a Registered Piano Technician who is available to answer any question you have about the mechanical elements ofthe piano.
