(lot of 29) Wedgwood commemorative United States Naval Academy partial dinner service, blue on white ground, with detailed transfers of various Naval Academy grounds and sailing ships, marked U.S. Naval Academy and Wedgwood, Barlaston, England underfoot, including: (11) dinner plates, each with scalloped border depicting ships, helm motifs, and the Naval Academy seal in rope surround, central designs comprising the Postgraduate School, Dahlgren Hall, Nahan Hall, Bird's Eye View of the Naval Academy 1858, The Chapel, Naval Academy Hop 1869, Airplane View From East, Old Midshipmen Quarters 1868-1905, Sailboat Drill, Old Fort Severn 1851, and Old Main Gate 1869-1932, approx 10.25"diam; (6) footed cups, approx 2.75"h, 4.5"w, 3.75"d; (6) matched saucers, approx 5.5"diam; (6) bread and butter plates, approx 6"diam; 18.5lbs total

06.12.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 2513: I note that all pieces comprising the set are intact and free from observed chips or hairlines/ fractures, edges remain smooth and transfer decoration is overall well-preserved without notable loss, there are some minute inherent glaze skips at the handles of some of the teacups, most of the dinner plates with varied degrees of crazing, most being minor
