(lot of 2) Colt New Service (U.S. Model 1909) Double Action Revolvers, mfg. 1914, .455 Eley caliber, nickel plated, gilt hammer, cylinder and trigger, black Colt checkered grips, 5.5" barrels, blade front sight, marked at barrel eft side "New Service .455 Eley", grooved top strap, left frame marked next to barrel with crossed flags of the British War Office (mark also appears on rear face of cylinder), right barrel near frame marked "NP." and two proof marks, both with a proof mark at underside of barrel next to frame, rampant Colt at left frame and marked at upper left frame behind cylinder with British broad arrow and other proof marks, each with lanyard loop at butt, both with light scratching, wear to gilt at cylinders, one with chip on left grip near butt, both with good action, bores are bright, good rifling, some pitting, offered together with (1) highly tooled foliate and scrolled decorated black leather double holster gun belt, further accented with more than 100 silver tone decorative circular and star forms in several sizes, 30 cartridge loops, each holster with a silver tone plate marked in gilt lettering "DDC", the belt buckle marked "Sterling" and "F.H. Conen, Makers (Frank H. Conen, 1889-1964, Denmark, Los Angles,  saddle maker, competitor of Edward Bohlin), Colts serial numbers; one with SN 63916, one with SN 121879   *REQUIRES FFL TRANSFER*
