(lot of 3) Continental patinated metal and porcelain mantle garniture set, late 19th c., including: (1) mantel clock, having acorn finial, above porcelain case with painted village landscapes, dial with Roman numeral hour markers, time-and-strike movement marked HP and Co., with central figural mask, rising on front paw feet, accompanied by pendulum, back viewing door lacking glass, not currently operational, approx 17.75"h, 9"w, 5.25"d; (pair) matching vasiform garnitures, approx 15.5"h, 5.5"w, 4"d; 19.5lbs total

CR 6.16.25- As mentioned in the catalog description, the clock is not currently operational. Though it winds easily, the movement does not appear to respond to winding. It is accompanied by a well-fitting pendulum, and the bell resounds nicely when manually struck. The suspension string is intact. As with all of our antique clocks, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning.
