(lot of 3) French gilt-bronze and Sevres style porcelain clock garniture, 19th c., including: (1) clock, the case surmounted by a turquoise-ground porcelain urn, porcelain dial painted with a cherub, Roman numeral hours, time-and-strike movement marked Japy Freres, lacking pendulum, not currently operational, approx 12"h, 8.5"w, 4.5"d; (2) two-light candelabra garnitures, approx 11.5"h, 8"w, 3.5"d; 14.75lbs total

CR 6.2.25-As noted in the catalog description, the clock is lacking a pendulum and is not currently operational. The bell and striker are present and resound nicely when manually struck. The clock is very difficult to wind, and the movement does not appear to respond to winding. I note typical overall patination to the case. As with all of our antique clocks, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning.
