05-26-2026: In my opinion regarding LOT 1154: I note that the yarn paintings remain securely encased within framing, the covers are free from observed hairlines/ fractures and visible chipping, please note that these works were not examined outside of the framing, from a close visual examination, I observe some scattered minute gaps which I believe to be original to creation, however I am unsure (see images), there are some minute stray fibers seemingly under the glass, and the colors of the yarn remain vibrant and overall uniform, the frames having typical minor surface wear, which is sparse, such as small nicks and light abrasions commensurate with use/ hanging
