In my opinion: I am not an expert on such works, so have taken high-resolution images out of the frame for your review, a UV light and close visual examination is unremarkable showing no apparent rips or tears to the sheet, as described the sheet is hinged to the mat along the top edge with white tape, I am uncertain if this is archival, I note small yellow staining all corners, only visible at the front side of sheet, likely indicative of former adhesive matting, as described the sheet exhibits typical light toning and foxing, the work is framed under UV-filtering glass, the frame remains stable with light surface wear and minor rubs, all consistent with age and display
