In my opinion: I am not an expert on such works, so have taken high-resolution images out of the frame for your review, a UV light and close visual examination is unremarkable showing no apparent rips or tears to the sheet, as described the sheet is mounted to the matting with white tape applied at the top and bottom edges, the back of sheet with discoloration at the corners and sides, likely indicative of former adhesive matting, as described the sheet exhibits typical light toning and spotting, the edges of the paper appear slightly worn, as is commensurate with age and framing, the work is framed under UV-filtering glass, the frame remains stable with light surface wear and minor rubs, all consistent with age and display
