Condition

06.06.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 1130: As described the chest is lacking a finial on the left-hand side of bonnet, I note that the chest is intact and stands sturdy, appearing structurally secure throughout, there are light tonal variations commensurate with slight fading of the finish, which I believe to be original, there are typical minor splits, all appearing stable, and the drawers operate smoothly with overall well-kept/ clean interiors, the brass hardware is later added and remains securely mounted with light patination, I observe some small fills to peg joinery covers, which are typical, and some typical minor surface wear such as small chips, nicks, and light abrasions commensurate with age and use
